Handmade kraft gift boxes and matching gift tags – pack of 5

Description

I bought this fabulous little cutting die for my cutting machine a while back, and only now is it getting some use. I made some of these excellent little boxes for packing small pieces in a parcel I sent to a customer recently, and I thought the boxes were so cute I should really be making them to sell… so here they are!

Made from sturdy 300gsm kraft card, these gift boxes are glued together at the sides then flat packed with strips of double-sided sticky tape on the bottom flaps, so all you have to do is fold the bottom flaps inwards, remove the backing tape and then fix the longer flaps onto the tape. I’ve made all the necessary folds so it will take a matter of just seconds for you to build up these little boxes.

The pack also includes 5 gift tags, cut from the same card (great way to use up leftover card and cut down on waste – these tags are also available to buy separately) and I’ve strung the tags with natural jute twine, so they’re completely recyclable and/or compostable.

When fully assembled there’s space inside these boxes for a gift measuring up to 5.5cm x 5.3cm x 9cm. The overall height, including the handle, is 9.5cm.

You can decorate these boxes in any way you like – using stamps, pens, stickers or a simple ribbon (the latter is my favourite because ribbons can be reused… I’ve got wired gift ribbons in my collection that I’ve been reusing for over 15 years!)

Each set includes five gift boxes and five matching gift tags, in a handmade deep envelope made from kraft card, which can also be recycled or composted.
