I’ve been selling small handmade Christmas decorations at craft fairs for the past few years, and they really do go down a treat – I sell loads every year. Now that Christmas fair season has finished for 2025 I still have several left over – but next Christmas I want to do something new, so rather than store my leftovers away indefinitely, I thought I’d put together some really amazing value ‘lucky bags’ where customers can get £25-worth of random small handmade decorations for just £10 including P&P.
At fairs, my small decorations are grouped by price, like this:
- £1 each or 6 for £5
- £1.50 each or 4 for £5
- £2 each or 3 for £5
In your lucky bag you’ll get five sets that normally sell at £5, at least one set from each price group. Please look at the photos for an idea of what you might get in each lucky bag. If you have any particular preferences, please add a note to your order at the checkout.
Any decorations that include text are more likely to have Welsh text than English – I don’t really make much in English, since Welsh is the dominant language at the fairs I sell at. Please use the drop-down boxes to select your language preferences and I’ll do my best to honour your choice, depending on what’s left in stock. If you select English, I’ll mostly send you items that don’t contain any text at all.
What might I get in my lucky dip?
Your lucky dip could include any of the following handmade Christmas decorations:
- Wooden hearts, heat embossed in either English or Welsh with a seasonal message
- Glittery plaster of Paris hearts, topped with crystal and/or metal beads
- Angels with porcelain faces and metal wings
- Rainbow angels with wooden faces, colourful hair and holographic wings
- A ‘plumpie’ (gnome) – only one left, will he be yours?
- Real peacock feather topped with crystal and/or metal beads (only 3 left)
- Painted wooden dove, heat embossed “nadolig llawen”
- Painted wooden elk, heat embossed “nadolig llawen” with bow and bell – red or white (they also have snowflakes printed on the reverse)
- Resin discs with holographic effect on one side – red, green, clear, gold, silver or copper
- Resin snowflakes: available as a pack of 1 large, a pack of 3 medium, or a pack of 6 small
- Resin ‘ice wand’ (for want of a better description!) – kind of an icicle topped by a star, made from light blue resin edged in gold mica powder
