I make these cute little cottages by pouring resin into a cake mould which has house-shaped inserts, and embedding fairy lights into the resin while it’s still in a liquid state.
My cake mould has 6 or 7 inserts, all slightly different in shape and style, so the precise design of cottage you receive may differ from what you see pictured.
All designs measure approximately 7 x 6 x 6cm. The finished cottages are quite weighty objects, being solid resin. I’ve embedded a generous amount of iridescent glitter into the resin, so the cottages are nice and sparkly.
The fairy lights are AA-battery operated but unfortunately I can’t include batteries in the parcel or Royal Mail will refuse to accept it from me for delivery. The lights available are warm white, cool white and multi-coloured. Please use the drop-down box next to the ‘add to basket’ button to select your preferred light colour.
All cottages are packaged in clear acetate boxes with branded card inserts – ideal for gift wrapping, if you’re buying for someone else.
Please note that while these handmade light-up resin cottages will undoubtedly be attractive to children, they are not toys and should not be played with or over-handled, otherwise the wire connection to the control box can be damaged, which will stop the lights from working. Handle delicately at all times!
