I make these adorable light-up resin Christmas trees by mixing epoxy resin with a generous amount of iridescent glitter, and pouring the mixture into a silicone mould.
While the resin is still in a liquid state, I quickly embed fairy lights into the resin, then allow the resin to cure.
The trees measure approximately 12x7cm and are packaged in a clear acetate box with a branded card insert – perfect for wrapping, if you’re going to gift the item, but just as useful for storage when your resin light-up Christmas tree is not in use.
The fairy lights are AA-battery operated but unfortunately I can’t include batteries in the parcel or Royal Mail will refuse to accept it from me for delivery. The trees are available with either cool white or multi-coloured lights; please use the drop-down box next to the ‘add to basket’ button to select your preferred light colour.
Please note that while these handmade light-up resin Christmas trees will undoubtedly be attractive to children, they are not toys and should not be played with or over-handled, otherwise the wire connection to the control box can be damaged, which will stop the lights from working. Handle this item gently at all times!
