This was my very first new card for 2025 and I’m very pleased with it.
I’ve cut three little carousels from some beautiful rainbow glitter card, so you can see the colours subtly changing from one carousel to the next.
Each carousel had tiny pop-out stars as part of the design, so rather than chucking the stars away as waste I’ve re-affixed them into the holes they left behind, but with the colours mixed up. So a light green carousel base has darker green stars, and the darker green base has lilac stars, and so on. A little fiddly but looks very effective!
The background cardstock I’ve used for this card is one of my favourites – a pearlised iridescent white with shimmers of pink and green. This new baby card is entirely ungendered so is suitable for boys or girls.
This is quite a large card, measuring 21×10.5cm. It’s supplied with a white envelope and is protected by a cellophane bag.
