I designed this Lantin in the cold and dark of winter, so I had to give it a name that evoked spring and with it, a little hope that the winter won’t last too long!
A little bird sits on a branch, in a gap in the trees. It’s a multi-layered scene in several colours of pearlised card. The outer layer is a deep, dark, forest green. Next, we have a layer of jade-green for contrast. Then comes the brach, which I’ve cut from pearlised copper card. Sitting on the branch is a little bird, in royal blue with lilac wings. In its mouth it holds a glittery shocking pink heart. The background is cut from mid-blue pearlised card, and the Lantin is fitted with warm white LED lights.
This is a large square Lantin, measuring approximately 15 x 15 x 6 cm. It is supplied with a matching lid, and presented in a Mooshkin branded cotton drawstring bag which also contains a 1m USB extension cord to give you a little extra reach in case your shelf and electrical socket have a bit of distance between them.
Note: you will need a USB plug (such as is used for charging a mobile phone) or a USB battery pack – neither of which are supplied with the Lantin. While my Lantins will undoubtedly be attractive to children, please exercise caution and keep the Lantin and its cables out of reach of tiny hands.
