Handmade greetings card: “Die cut swirl of rainbow hearts”

I love how simple this card is. I’ve owned the die for aaaaages and had never got around to using it. While I was in my recent card-making frenzy I stumbled across the die and thought hmm, time to give this one a go…

This A6 white greetings card features a top layer of mint-coloured card, into which I’ve die cut a swirl of hearts in various sizes. Behind the apertures I’ve attached a piece of fancy paper featuring prisms of pastel rainbow colours. Each card is slightly different because the backgrounds are cut from the same large piece of paper. So some parts of the overall pattern will end up on one card, another area on another card.

The card measures 10.5 x 14.8cm and is supplied with a matching white envelope. The card and envelope are sent to you in a cellophane bag to keep them protected until use.
