Description
A simple, subtle and elegant handmade greetings card to celebrate a happy couple’s special day.
The main card body has a silver damask pattern printed onto white – it’s quite subtle so you may not be able to see it very well in my photo.
Into this I’ve die cut a heart shape made out of dozens of smaller hearts. I’ve placed a piece of iridescent white pearlised card behind the apertures to add some substance and subtle contrast.
The largest of the pieces of heart that popped out during cutting have been reaffixed to the card, in a kind of halo around the main ‘heart of hearts’, along with some tiny flowers that I’ve die cut from the same card I used for the backing to the apertures. I’ve added tiny diamantes to the centre of each flower.
Finally, at the bottom of the card is a plaque – again, cut from that white iridescent pearlised cardstock – and onto this I’ve heat embossed ‘llongyfarchiadau’ in silver.
This is an ungendered wedding card so it’s suitable for both same-sex and opposite-sex couples and could be used to celebrate an engagement as well as a wedding.
This handmade wedding card measures 15x15cm and is supplied with a white envelope, and is protected by a cellophane bag.
