I love the simplicity of this handmade birthday card.

I’ve die cut a hot air balloon in pearlised royal blue cardstock and backed it with bright yellow card to produce a contrasting stripe. The balloon is affixed to a piece of very pale blue cardstock, into which I’ve die cut three little clouds so that the white greetings card shows through. Finally, I’ve embossed ‘happy birthday’ at the bottom, and this message is wonderfully tactile.

Very subtle, very simple, but also very lovely!

This handmade birthday card measures approximately 15cm x 15cm and is supplied with a matching white envelope and presented in a cello bag to keep it clean and dust-free.
