Description
A very complex wedding card for two female-identifying persons, this same-sex wedding card is cute but also very classy. It’s very fiddly and time consuming to make, and this is reflected in the price.
The main body of the card is printed all over in a silver damask pattern on white, which may be difficult to see in my photo. At the top, I’ve created a banner saying “Mrs & Mrs” using die cut pearlised dark red and gold cardstock.
In the centre of the card are two large ovals which have been cut from handmade (not by me!) paper which has real rose petals and other botanicals embedded in it; for this reason each card will be completely unique, as no two sheets of this paper are the same. Onto the ovals I’ve affixed die cut tiny bridal outfits: the dresses are cut from the same card as the background, so they’re silver damask on white, but I’ve also added some pearlised gold trim. Above the dresses are tiny gold tiaras, and to the sides are wedding shoes to match the dresses, and bouquets of dark red flowers with bright green leaves.
Finally, at the bottom of the card I’ve heat embossed ‘priodas llongyfarchiadau’ in gold onto a rectangle of dark red pearlised card.
This is a fairly large handmade same sex wedding card measuring 15x15cm. It’s supplied with a white envelope and is protected by a cellophane bag.
