As soon as I saw this little cutting die set for sale, I just had to buy it – the gnomes are so cuuuute!
This Welsh birthday card features a trio of cheeky gnomes holding hearts. This is a fiddly card to make: the gnomes’ hands measure just a few millimetres, and they’re not easy to handle (especially if you have fingernails that are longer than the tips of your fingers, which mine are!)
The gnomes have been die cut into a variety of colours of pearlised card, and their shoes are cut from black glitter cardstock. They’re affixed to a grey-blue marbled effect backing card, and I’ve added a little black plaque onto which I’ve heat embossed “penblwydd hapus” in silver embossing powder.
This handmade greetings card measures 13.5 x 13.5cm, is supplied with a matching white envelope, and is presented in a cello bag for protection from dust and dirt.
