Description
This handmade wedding congratulations card features two intricately patterned doves, one cut from ivory pearlised cardstock and the other from a pearlised iridescent white cardstock. I’ve affixed these over a background of lilac, blue and green watercolour-effect paper that’s been printed with little rainbow mirror effect hearts. At the bottom, I’ve heat embossed “ar ddydd eich priodas” in silver.
To add a little additional ‘luxe’ to this card, I’ve rounded off the corners and to the inside I’ve affixed some parchment paper which, when you open it up, is stamped “llongyfarchiadau” in silver ink.
Something lovely about this card is the fact that it can be used for a same-sex wedding since it’s completely ungendered. Love is love is love, and wedding cards for same-sex couples should be far more available in Welsh than I suspect they currently are! 🙂
This is a fairly large 15x15cm handmade greetings card which is supplied with a white envelope and protected by a cellophane bag.
